What You'll Do

• Wander through the stately Upper Park and see the gorgeous

fountains that cover the estate

• Enjoy beautiful views of the Lower Park, including the largest cascade

in Europe, "trick" fountains, magnificent flowerbeds and Italian statues

• Tour the Grand Palace and marvel at the interiors representing the

styles of different époques

On a 5-hour guided trip from St. Petersburg you’ll tour the grounds and the

palace of Peterhof. Peterhof was a brainchild of Peter the Great and it was

without a doubt his most ambitious project. You will see the Lower Park,

which retains its appearance since the middle of 18 century. Later you will

walk along its alleys and see the most beautiful fountains. The Upper Park is

another jam of the Peterhof residence where the oldest fountain "Neptune"

is located. There you can get a real feeling of 18 century atmosphere. After

a fun walk in the gardens, you will visit the Grand palace, which served as an

official royal summer residence until the revolution of 1917. There you will

see interiors decorated in baroque, classical and oriental styles.
